This week's Shop Saturday features a longtime Denver favorite. Located on the frontage road at the southwest corner of S Santa Fe and Belleview in Littleton, Colorado, Anglers All has served the greater Denver area since opening their doors in 1954. After moving to the current location in 1969, they continued to help drive the fly fishing scene in Denver with an elite group of experts and an open door to all anglers eager to learn.
When they say ‘All’ they really mean it. Their goal as a shop is to have the equipment and expertise needed to cover all anglers on all types of adventures, regardless of species or location. The east wall in the shop displays the fitting words 'Fish it All.'
Host to a beautiful layout of the best brands in the industry, they dedicate over a quarter of their floor space to an all-encompassing selection of fly tying materials, including vises, tools, feathers, and every piece and part of any fly imaginable. The variety of quality materials is truly second to none in the Denver area and it’s a spot where any fly-tying junkie could lose themselves for hours.
Beyond the tying bench, their fly selection spans multi-species flies for every type of fisherman. From the Colorado tailwater junkie to the most avid saltwater enthusiasts, their fly displays hold everything needed to get the job done. Their extensive saltwater selection plays perfectly into their unique expertise in coordinating destination fly fishing adventures. By partnering with outfitters around the world, the Anglers All team is prepared to send you on your next dream pursuit. If you’re looking for guided trips within Colorado, their crew also coordinates with select fly shops throughout the state to help align trips closer to home.
One other fun opportunity the team has broken into is hosting the first-ever Colorado-based ‘25 on the Fly,' also known as Mile High 25. Mile High 25 is a fly fishing tournament consisting of two-man teams with two days to track down as many species as possible, all on the fly. The rules list looks lengthy but it’s pretty simple: fish public water, catch a species, grab some video of it with a quick release ,and check it off the list. The most species win, with a few creative tie breakers in case of confusion at the end of the day. The tournament will be held June 19th & 20th. Click here to sign up: Mile High 25.
Although he was elbow deep in the front irrigation system (jack of all trades), Anglers All General Manager Jimmy Juliana was quick to make us feel at home. In a couple of hours of wandering around the shop, it was clear that this crew is not like the rest. Equipped with experts in every aspect of fly fishing, they truly have put together a top-notch team of personalities. Together, they create the warm and welcoming environment of your neighborhood fly shop combined with the professionalism of a well established business. From Fly Fishing 101 courses to all of your favorite Yakoda products, Anglers All is sure to have you covered for your next stint on the water.
