The Funky P is a super-buggy attractor pattern that combines the best features of a Walt’s Worm and a Prince Nymph. Combined with some of our favorite ingredients, the result is an irresistible, deep-diving fish finder. Deriving its name from George Clinton’s P-Funk, this bug looks like it just arrived on the mothership.

With a combination of natural squirrel dubbing on the body, an untamed CDC feather collar, and enough flash to stand out in fast-moving or murky water, it’s the definition of an attractor. A tungsten bead helps this fly get down fast and the jig hook minimizes snags and results in a cleaner hook up. Like many of our flies, the Funky P can do double – and even triple-duty, fooling fish as a caddis, stonefly, or mayfly emerger.
