Caddisflies build protective housing out of sand, pebbles, and plant material so that they can move around in search of food.  When dislodged, they become an easy snack for a hungry trout. Our cased caddis is a simple and highly effective imitation of its larva stage and designed to get down quickly where it's sure to find the lip of what you're after.
