Flip over a rock or a submerged branch and there's a good chance you'll see a caddis larva. They live in streams and rivers for a year or two before pupating and emerging as a flying adult, becoming trout snacks as they drift naturally in the current after being dislodged from the stream bottom.
Our quick caddis is a simple and highly effective imitation of its larva stage. Designed to get down quickly where it's sure to find the lip you're after. This is a Yakoda-exclusive fly that's not available anywhere else.

I have purchased flies from numerous other large and small retailers and the ones from Yakoda are by far the best quality. Great patterns, great quality, great customer service! Highly recommend
Gorgeous caddis nymph. It’s very productive in Shenandoah National Park as a dropper or lone point fly for brookies.
