Baetis are small mayflies that live in all water systems and can be found in greater numbers where the water temperatures are consistent—that’s why they particularly like tailwaters. This fly is a close imitation of a natural mayfly nymph. The slim, UV-cured quill body slips and darts just like a real baetis nymph does when it’s looking for a new home. Even though baetis are small, big, hungry trouts still key in on them and you should be prepared when they do.

These flies will work well in N. Idaho. Waiting/looking forward to using them when high spring runoff is over.
well made and very buggy - if I were a trout I would slurp this
